Crusader Kings 3 is heading northeasterly for its first DLC, coming next week
Paradox has revealed Crusader Kings 3's first bit of DLC, which will be good news for anyone wanting symmetrical more Vikings in their lives, and bad news for anyone hoping this would be the first expansion. As an alternative, it's a 'flavor pack', which is a bit slimmer than an expanding upon, but also cheaper.
The Northern Lords Flavor Pack will put awa in parvenu art, 3D models, medicine, events and features like venturer realms created by formerly landless warriors. So it's not strictly ornamental. Since we've already got Viking raids and invasions, it looks like this pack is more than interested in what the Geographic area deck up to when they're not pillaging monasteries and fervid down villages.
If any of this is giving you an itch to nominate a new Norse lord, then you won't have long to wait. Information technology's launching on Tuesday, Marchland 16. Information technology leave as wel be attended by a hefty free patch, 1.3, which Paradox has been teasing over the last month. Information technology's thematically in keeping with the Northern Lords pack, but should have a bit more all-inclusive appeal.
Enclosed in 1.3 is winter weather and map tweaks, a poesy trait that lets you spit out randomized couplets and a newfangled duelling system. It covers a good deal of ground beyond these highlights, and power actually be a trifle more powerful than the DLC.
Deplorably, it doesn't look at that place's anything from my Crusader Kings 3 DLC wish list. Oh well! Mayhap next time.
